Chris began the practice of law in 2002 outside of Washington, DC, and moved to Nashville in 2005. Chris concentrates his practice in the field of tax and business transactions, including estate planning, estate and trust administration, individual and business tax planning, business succession planning, organization of business entities (both for-profit and not-for-profit), mergers, acquisitions, and dissolutions.

Chris serves the Firm’s clients locally and nationally in all facets of the entertainment and music industry, as well as professional athletes, physicians, corporate executives, sole proprietors, closely-held businesses, and other high-net worth individuals. He is a tax attorney by trade, but his educational background in business and accounting allows him the opportunity to bring a well-rounded approach to solving his client’s problems and addressing their tax, corporate, and estate planning needs.

Chris obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi in 1996, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi in 1997, a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Alabama in 2001, and a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 2002. He lives in Franklin, TN with his wife, Keena, and three sons, Corbin, Camden, and Cutler.
